Current KTU Program
Our 2026 program features four Virginia Tech professors presenting interactive sessions. Parents are required to take their child to lunch and to the afternoon hands on exhibits. Both programs will attend a morning Interactive Session with a Sciencist.

During this interactive session we will learn about nanobiotechnology and get the answers to the following questions and topics-
- What are cells and their forces?
- Essentials of cell behavior: cell division
- Essentials of cell behavior: cell death
- How do spider mites move on their webs?
- How do waterbears move?

In this interactive session we will learn about microcirculation.

2026 KTU Session 4
During this talk we will explore various geological topics including volcanoes and why the Appalachian Mountians are so special to our ecology. We will also be visiting the Museum of Geosciences!
