Inspiring the next generation of scientists and STEM leaders

Now in its 14th year, students this spring were able to once again experience Kids' Tech University in person after two years of the program being moved to a virtual-only experience as a result of the pandemic.

Kids’ Tech University accepts enthusiastic learners ages 9 through 12 (as of September 30, 2023). We can accommodate 160 children and registration will open on Oct. 16 for the 2024 program.


KTU Program

Virginia Tech professors are presenting interactive sessions on subjects spanning health, engineering, and science. The program will be held on the Virginia Tech Blacksburg, VA campus and will include afternoon hands-on activities presented career fair style. 

2014.02.22. Kids' Tech University. "How do you see inside the human body?" - An interactive session led by Dr. Bradley Smith. Emil T. Hofman Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Director of the Notre Dame Integrated Imaging Facility.
